As an integral part of the Digital Design, Apps & UX team within the Digital Media department at MTV/Viacom, I specialised in iOS & mobile, designing, developing & maintaining a number of international applications for regions including the UK, Ireland, Australia & New Zealand. I was responsible for the MTV News applications, launching the first version when the Apple App Store launched and creating a new revenue stream for Digital Media. I also created promotional applications for flagship MTV programmes such as Geordie Shore & The Valleys, which generated revenue through paid & advert-funded models.

Responsible for designing, developing & maintaining bespoke websites, microsites, games, promotional material & text-to-screen broadcast applications across MTV UK's portfolio (MTV Music, Base, Dance, Hits, Rocks, Classic, VH1 and Viva). Working primarily on Flash & web-based projects, I also built SMS text-to-screen broadcast applications such as Love Match & Match Maker, which ran on MTV UK, MTV Hits & MTV Base and let viewers see how well they matched with their partners using a custom algorithm. These improved both channel engagement & revenue.
